&lt;p&gt;We had an older user that used our Trados Studio 2021 and MultiTerm, she (Susanne) has retiered for about 6 month ago, and now we have a new user that are going to use the system, but she can&amp;#39;t login to the Translation Memory in Trados Studio - Then I looked at the server, and apparently I have been broken the GroupShare software, and now it wants a activation. But we are running it on a closed network, and therefor I need to reset the activation, can you help me with that?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I assume she can&amp;#39;t login to the Translation Memory is bascause of this Groupshare that isn&amp;#39;t activated.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My team uses Trados Enterprise (latest version) for project management. Most translators use Trados Studio (2024 SR1 - 18.1.3.6657) as an editor.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When a requester submits a document to us, we typically first prepare it for analysis and pre-translation with&amp;nbsp;an &lt;strong&gt;Engineering&lt;/strong&gt; task.&amp;nbsp;Typically, this preparation involves hiding, moving or removing text.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When the source file is ready, we &amp;quot;&lt;strong&gt;Replace the&amp;nbsp;[source] file&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;quot; with it in Trados Enterprise. We then complete the &lt;strong&gt;Engineering&lt;/strong&gt; task and proceed to the next steps (analysis, pre-translation, translation, etc.).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The problem(s)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As mentioned above, most translators on our team use Trados Studio. This problem only happens in Trados Studio.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Say one&amp;nbsp;translator works on a &amp;quot;heavily&amp;quot; engineered file in Trados Studio. The translator finishes their work, and successfully generates a target file (Shift + F12). However, the file fails to open; MS Office/Windows consistently show an error message.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;After investigation and consulting RWS Support, there seems to be a &amp;quot;limit&amp;quot; to the amount of modifications one can do in&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Engineering. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was confirmed by RWS Support, who recommended we submit the engineered file as a new translatable, rather than&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;Replace the&amp;nbsp;[source] file&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The question&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What, exactly, are&amp;nbsp;the &amp;quot;limits&amp;quot; of the Engineering task? The promise was a smooth transition between cloud and Trados, but this does not happen! That was why i upgraded to Trados 2014.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I get all sorts of weird errors even on a brand new installation of Studio.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Creating the project on cloud, or creating the project on SDL Trados, makes no difference.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It seems like once i start working on the cloud environment, the SDL Trados loses the capacity to open the project, see some of the&amp;nbsp;errors in the screen shots:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;-After saving the project to the Cloud, did you close Studio or reopen it, or did you just reopen the file in the Editor when you observed the change?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-Did you save the file before saving it to the Cloud?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-Was saving it to the Cloud successful? If so, how does it look there? Is the target populated?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please also note that, unfortunately, a button that reverts the &amp;#39;Save to Cloud&amp;#39; one does not exist.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Having said all of that... you could switch to using Grammarly as your spell checker.&amp;nbsp; That works with Trados Studio (if you have the 2024 version which you do) and also any online editing environment you might translate in.&amp;nbsp; Maybe that&amp;#39;s a solution for you?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;this is used to place orders, download products, retrieve/reset licences, get support, manage users who share an account with you (if you are an admin on the account)&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Trados Cloud
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;this is essentially a translation tool in the cloud that you can use (if you have the appropriate licence) to be able to translate from anywhere.&amp;nbsp; It syncs with the desktop environment so you can work on the same projects from any location.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Product specific accounts
&lt;ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;ok - in that case you do not need to be logged in anywhere.&amp;nbsp; Your dictionary in this case is stored locally to your machine.&amp;nbsp; Normally here - c:\Program Files (x86)\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18\HunspellDictionaries\ - if you&amp;#39;re using Hunspell; or here if you&amp;#39;re using Microsoft 365/Office 2016 (click to run) -&amp;nbsp;%AppData%\Microsoft\UProof\.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you are not seeing words you know you have added it might be due to using the Microsoft spellcheck and also working in Trados Studio through a remote desktop session, or maybe virtualised environment?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;When your windows profile is stored on a server or synced between computers (a roaming profile), the UProof folder that holds Word&amp;rsquo;s custom dictionary can get replaced each time you log on.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;So if you add new words to Word&amp;rsquo;s dictionary, those changes may not appear in Trados because:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;the profile that Trados loads doesn&amp;rsquo;t include the latest version of CUSTOM.DIC, or&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;the network or RDP session restores an older copy of it.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I believe SmartCAT supports this&amp;nbsp;via a&amp;nbsp;plugin to&amp;nbsp;Articulate Rise 360.&amp;nbsp; Seems like a nice idea and it works by creating the translation project through their plugin.&amp;nbsp; I believe the project itself is created by unzipping the SCORM package and extracting the files and media elements for translation, then handling the translation with AI.&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t know if this type of requirement is on our roadmap, but we do have integrations to Trados Cloud already through our learning partners such as &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.flowsparks.com/partners/rws-trados" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"&gt;Flowsparks&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Flowsparks, interestingly enough, do &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.flowsparks.com/resources/all-about-scorm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"&gt;handle SCORM&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; packages.&amp;nbsp; So many of our customers use a product such as Flowsparks to manage their e-Learning projects and can achieve a well managed experience to Trados Cloud that way.&lt;/p&gt;
