&lt;p&gt;We had an older user that used our Trados Studio 2021 and MultiTerm, she (Susanne) has retiered for about 6 month ago, and now we have a new user that are going to use the system, but she can&amp;#39;t login to the Translation Memory in Trados Studio - Then I looked at the server, and apparently I have been broken the GroupShare software, and now it wants a activation. But we are running it on a closed network, and therefor I need to reset the activation, can you help me with that?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I assume she can&amp;#39;t login to the Translation Memory is bascause of this Groupshare that isn&amp;#39;t activated.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My team uses Trados Enterprise (latest version) for project management. Most translators use Trados Studio (2024 SR1 - 18.1.3.6657) as an editor.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When a requester submits a document to us, we typically first prepare it for analysis and pre-translation with&amp;nbsp;an &lt;strong&gt;Engineering&lt;/strong&gt; task.&amp;nbsp;Typically, this preparation involves hiding, moving or removing text.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When the source file is ready, we &amp;quot;&lt;strong&gt;Replace the&amp;nbsp;[source] file&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;quot; with it in Trados Enterprise. We then complete the &lt;strong&gt;Engineering&lt;/strong&gt; task and proceed to the next steps (analysis, pre-translation, translation, etc.).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The problem(s)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As mentioned above, most translators on our team use Trados Studio. This problem only happens in Trados Studio.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Say one&amp;nbsp;translator works on a &amp;quot;heavily&amp;quot; engineered file in Trados Studio. The translator finishes their work, and successfully generates a target file (Shift + F12). However, the file fails to open; MS Office/Windows consistently show an error message.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;After investigation and consulting RWS Support, there seems to be a &amp;quot;limit&amp;quot; to the amount of modifications one can do in&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Engineering. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was confirmed by RWS Support, who recommended we submit the engineered file as a new translatable, rather than&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;Replace the&amp;nbsp;[source] file&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The question&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What, exactly, are&amp;nbsp;the &amp;quot;limits&amp;quot; of the Engineering task? In the past, I&amp;#39;ve seen that the termbase viewer prompts a login window (even if you&amp;#39;ve already logged in), after which the terminology features work perfectly, but I have no idea how to prompt the window, it&amp;#39;s probably random or maybe it only happens once. I don&amp;#39;t know and my project manager doesn&amp;#39;t either.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This problem has been ongoing through different versions of Studio including 2021, 2022 and now 2024. I thought it would go away after upgrading to 2024, but it just stayed the same. I&amp;#39;ve installed, uninstalled, repaired and nothing works.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The situation:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Cloud project created with a number of target languages. After the project is published and the initial steps are completed and the files in the Translation stage, someone discovers that we have done very similar files before.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;PM assigns the files to himself before the vendor starts.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;PM then opens the files in Studio to PerfectMatch. The process completes successfully, and the target files are now to a large extent translated.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;At this point, we want to upload/synchronize the locale files back to the cloud project, but we have yet to find an option to accomplish that. The only way we have found is to complete the translation task, but that does not help because there is still work to be done by the vendor.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have tried turning the pc off-on, as well as updating Studio, but nothing seems to work.&lt;/p&gt;
