We recently noticed in MS Publisher files, when the file contains hard-returns in a TABLE, those are being stripped when we Import with pub2xml.ui.exe (soft-returns are maintained in table entries). We have been able to fix this by running a search (<r/>) and replace (<r/><n/>) in the target XML file prior the conversion to PUB. Doing so, fixes the missing hard-returns but adds an extra hard-return at the end of each paragraph. I'm attaching a small sample source file with an after XML>PUB conversion sample and a sample where I ran the search and replace. 190621_Publisher_notes.docx contains details on the process I followed. Thank you so much for your help with this, much appreciated!

RE: Paying it forward with MS Publisher files

[View:/cfs-file/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-aa2a08d8-19d1-46f4-a56e-77201ba94c2c/190621_5F00_MS_5F00_Publisher_5F00_test.zip:320:240]
