Dear Community

I am pleased to announce the latest release for the RWS Integration for Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This delivers some product enhancements as requested by customers.

Release Notes:

Feature Update

In Project creation page, we have added an additional field to include the project due time.
In View Project page we have added the time TIme fields and it will be updated if changed in the TMS system.
In the Request param, Added encoding="UTF-8". to the source xml files for translation

In addition, this release includes a previously unrelease feature that we now support Page Designer content directly from the cartridge. This allows users to create translation requests with page Designer content in the same way they can for product catalogs and content assets.

Hi,

Could you please update us about the Time field on the RWS connector in Salesforce Commerce Cloud? It's still missing. I will submit a new ticket to RWS Support (again) but that's something that should be enhanced asap.

Where is the Idea section of RWS Connector for SalesForce Commerce Cloud

It seems to me that the Idea section of the RWS connector in SalesForce Commerce Cloud disappeared from RWS Community website. Where can we post ideas about the RWS connector in SFCC now?

Product Roadmap - SDL Connector for Salesforce Commerce Cloud

The following items and features are planned for future releases of the app.

1. Improved error handling for end-users and admins

2. Support translated content in Product Variants

3. Streamlined Translation Projects page using new API endpoint

In additon we are investigating options for:

1. User permission management in SFCC

2. Creating Project Templates in SFCC

Dear Community

I am pleased to announce the latest release for the SDL Integration for Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This delivers an important bug fix plus many product enhancements as raised by customers.

Release Notes:

Feature Update

1. Allow the user to configure translatable custom attribute fields for content assets and products.
2. Attributes with datatype set of strings to be returned correctly after translation
3. Allow the user to submit Dictionary files through the connector
4. Warning to the user during project creation to use correct characters and limits in project name field
5. SDL Branding update
6. Additional authentication credentials for Client ID/Secret
7. Removed the option for manual download - all projects download automatically via schedulers
8. When users creates a project they get confirmation and auto-directed to the Translations Jobs page with their project at the top
9. Translation job table includes created date
10. Actions buttons on translation job table simplified for user input only on Approve/Reject (optional)

Bug Fixes

1. Bug Fix - Select All button in the content assets doesn’t respect filtered items from search
