I have been using BaccS but my laptop got stolen and I now only have access to a backup file (.bak) and a .sdf file but I can't use them. Is there any way of extracting this data into Business Manager?

How to import JSON files from Baccs to Business Manager Lite?

I finally decided to move from Baccs to BM Lite.

Today I wanted to import my data from Baccs to BM Lite that I exported to JSON before, but I get the error "File cannot be opened".

Do I need BM Essential for this?

Bug report: Error occurred when trying to filter the paid invoices with date

In "Invoice" page, when trying to select "this month" in the header "Date of paid in full", an error occurred in the application and have to reload.

wrong version of Business Manager?

Good evening!

I've started using Business Manager Lite, bit I don't know where to enter the freelancer data, i.e. the data for the tax code/VAT number.

I have the suspicion that I am using the wrong version of business manager.
How much does the TBM Team version cost and where can I download it or receive an activation key?

TBM6 does not integrate into SDL Trados Studio 2021 Professional

I'm the owner of Trados Studio 2021 Professional license and have recently purchased the Trados Business Manager Essential TBM6.

After uninstalling the Trados Business Manager Lite (which wasn't licensed), I installed TBM6 and restarted the PC. After restart, the TBM region with the corresponding buttons was not present in the Projects view as it should be. Can't figure out the reason why though. I've also tried uninstalling Trados Studio and reinstalling it, but nothing changes.

TBM6 is installed correctly, I think. URL: http://localhost:8733/, Application key xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. The software works correctly, I even managed to import data from Json file.

The Trados Business Manager Connector is not present in the Add-Ins Section under Plugins.

Could it be possible to solve the matter via a remote session?

Missing features between BM V5 and V6

I've downloaded the demo version of Trados Business Manager, and I wanted to try to import my Excel invoicing file into it. But when I tried to import it, I got the following error message "Vous essayez d'importer un fichier qui ne contient pas de données pour la vue de liste actuellement ouverte." What does this error mean? I thought that this might be due to the names of the columns that were different between TBM and my Excel file, but then, when I wanted to edit the columns names in TBM, I saw that the edit button was disabled.

How to proceed in this case? Is it possible to import an invoicing excel file to TBM?

Is there a setting somewhere to get the software to calculate top customers, volumes etc. on the customer dashboard by payment date rather than invoice date? Since I do taxes based on when the jobs are paid, it would be helpful to be able to get the totals by payment date rather than invoice/work date.

Hi Eugene,

I just recently upgraded to Trados 2021, so it maybe updated some package used by Business Manager, but now when I try to email invoices, the software times out. It says "Errors during sending: Operation has timed out." I'm at my brother's house for the holidays, so it could be related to changing Internet connections? However, I have a 200MBPS connection, so it shouldn't be.

If all else fails, I can send them via my email client, but I like sending the invoices through Business Manager.

BacQ 5: invoice "rounding" strange

Somehow an invoice has rounded the final amount wrongly. See the pic. The real amount should be 63,40. (base amount 60, plus 12,60 minus 9 = 63,40, not 64!

Nowhere in the program can I find a reason that explains this (like "round my totals"....)

Hello, I have an SDL Business Manager Lite license obtained with SDL Trados 2019.

The unused license and license key are clearly visible in my SDL account.
I upgraded to SDL 2021 and downloaded the SDL Trados Business Manager v2021.5.3.1 Lite plugin (and uninstalled the previous version-2019).
When I click on the Activation button in the SDL Business Manager Lite view (within Trados Studio) nothing happens, no pop-up window to insert my current license.
Another question: Is my current license key valid for SDL Trados Business Manager v2021.5.3.1 Lite? Note: Only SDL Trados Business Manager v2019.5.3.1 Lite is available for download in my SDL account

How to edit customer address template?

At present, when I create a new customer and enter its address, it shows, for example 5486 Burr Oak Road, 60532 Lisle, IL, USA. How can I make sure that it displays the zipcode after the state? Also what should I do so that the state and country are on the same line as the city? Have a look at the attached picture for reference.

Customer list under Quick Job Creation not updating

Recently the customer list in the drop down list under the Quick job creation button has stopped updating. A few customers were removed from the list, and then the list remained constant. Even customers for which I have entered a 5-6 jobs in the last 2 weeks have not been added. In the past the list used to update constantly according to the most common customer, but now – I don't remember exactly when this behaviour started – it is constant. Can this be fixed?

Hi all,

I upgrade SDL Trados Studio 2019 to 2021.

After upgrade, Business Manager Lite activation not working.

I clicked activation button (right to "Option" button, green shield "V" icon), there is no response.

I paid to buy Business Manager Lite, but in 2021 manager only works in demo version 😞

I also returned Business Manager key, so in my account it is "Available" statys,

delete and reinstall Business Manager or reinstall Trados Studio also no use.

Please help me solve this problem.

I want to change the path of specific file and get pointed to another location:

File: bmanager_lite.sdf

From this folder: C:\Users\****\Documents\SDL Trados Business Manager\TradosDatabase

To this folder: C:\Program Files\Trados

I'm not talking about making backup, only change the location of the file.
