Not able to log in to Language Weaver

I cannot log in to Language Weaver, and get this message: "You are not allowed to log in to Language Weaver. Please use another account or contact your Language Weaver administrator." I own Trados Studio 2024 Plus – SR1 - 18.1.4.6694.

Machine translation is not working. I checked my language weaver account and saw that I exceeded the allowed number of characters, however, the table also shows that there is no upper limit, what does that mean?

I've seen "no upper limit" displayed before while the service was still enforcing account quotas in the background. Since support has already opened a case, it sounds like they need to verify whether your subscription limits are being applied correctly.

Facing issues logging in to the Language Weaver account and configuring MT.

I am unable to log in to the Language Weaver account and set up MT. I need assistance with Language Weaver activation.

Error: You are not allowed to log in to Language Weaver. Please use another account or contract your Language Weaver administrator.

I am the administrator of my RWS account and am attempting to access the Language Weaver portal after logging in to RWS.

Please help.

XML translation problem with Language Weaver

We translated with Trados Cloud and the internal Language Weaver for the last years. Now we had to change to the Language Weaver Cloud.

But when we translate XML Files with the Language Weaver it makes troubles with tables.

I haven't found any settings to fix this.

the translation provider "language weaver cloud" couldn't be opened

Hi,

Why do I receive this message while trying to enable the Language Weaver?
The translation provider "language weaver cloud" couldn't be opened...
Is it possible for LW to be applied throughout the file and enabled on the side of the PM, but disabled on my side?
Is there any solution for this?

I tried to rename the settings files under the Studio18 folder, but the error still appears.

I'm trying to add a user to my Language Weaver subscription (Account Id: 11939) and get this error message:

"Failed to create user. Email address is already used.
Trace Id: lwui.xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx."

I have double-checked and the user's email is not in use.

Can you help me solve this problem?

Hello Sabina,

The error message may be slightly misguiding. Account 11939 has a single user entitlement, this is likely the reason why you cannot add a 2nd user to it.

If you are interested in purchasing a larger user package, I can ask one of my colleagues to reach out to you on this.

Machine Translation Quality Estimation is an additional feature that requires a language-specific Quality Estimation model. If you have an active Language Weaver subscription, we would be happy to set up an MTQE trial for you. Please let us know which language direction you would like to test.

Hi Amanda Silver - All customers receive 6M characters of free Language Weaver Machine Translation per year with their Trados Studio 2022 or Trados Studio 2024 license. For customer having issues then please do a case as Christy recommends above

I recently upgraded to Trados Studio 2024, which is supposed to include “Language Weaver with an annual allowance of up to 6 million MT characters per account."

When I log into My Account at portal.languageweaver.com, my Language Weaver MT subscription is inactive (“Expired”). This is because, prior to upgrading to Studio 2024, I had Studio 2021 and a purchased (with credit card) annual subscription to Language Weaver. Naturally, I did not renew this annual subscription when it expired a few weeks ago because I no longer required it, as the subscription is supposed to be included with Trados Studio 2024.

When I click on “Manage Subscription” in the Language Weaver portal, no options/actions are available to me.

How do I proceed to have my Language Weaver MT subscription, which is supposed to be included in Trados Studio 2024, activated?

For everybody writing that your subscription has expired, you only got a one-year subscription when you upgraded to Studio 2024, not an infinite deal So, you have to go in yourselfveand upgrade/renew. This is not a support issue.

Go here to upgrade/renew your subscription, it costs about EUR 100 per year: portal.languageweaver.com/.../account
