As you become more comfortable using Trados Studio and discover its feature rich capabilities and functionalities, you may want to extend on its 'inbuilt' features, by installing 'plugins'.

These plugins, will generally fall under the following groupings-

Automated/Machine translation (MT), Reference and Terminology, File Filters and converters,and of course the 'heart' of your translations... Translation Memory (TM).

Each of the chosen apps is designed to help you in a different area.

SDL Machine Translation Cloud

SDL Machine Translation Cloud is the cloud deployment of the award-winning SDL Machine Translation software that is made for enterprises.

It combines SDL’s Neural Machine Translation (NMT) capabilities with Linguistic AI™ to remove language barriers in content-intensive business functions.

Glossary Converter*

Glossary Converter allows to convert between MultiTerm Termbases and other terminology formats by simple drag and drop, with minimal user interaction. It supports sdltb, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, tbx, utx, glo, multiterm export files and tmx.

Studio Subtitling

The volume of audio visual content for localization is growing rapidly.
