Trados then told me to close the app and restart it. When I did this I got an error, saying Trados couldn&amp;#39;t open. I also tried to remove some plugin-files from my discoverer but I&amp;#39;m not so good with the technical side of these things.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

I looked and read the Knowledge Base and Community sites that similarly mentioned about this issue. I have tried different ways to get rid of the error message, such as renaming certain files, restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Trados, and repairing it. Unfortunately, none of these suggestions were successful.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Therefore, I am asking in this forum for help from experts by opening a case to solve this issue. I have lost 2 days ever since the message occurred. Please help me solve this issue as soon as possible.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;However, I tried to download a 30-day trial period with two different email accounts in hopes of finishing my homework, but,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;although I downloaded it successfully on my Mac,&amp;nbsp;the trial did not open (You cannot open this application). I wonder if this happened because I downloaded the program on the Remote Desk environment, thinking naively I would open it where I have all my files and folders saved...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;ok - that would explain a few things.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ll contact your University and see if we can help because they have been provided with Trados Studio 2024 and Trados Team.&amp;nbsp; This would allow a few things:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;you can work entirely in a browser and not install Trados Studio at all.&amp;nbsp; Can make things a lot simpler.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;you can download and install Trados Studio on any computer you like and licence it from Trados Team.&amp;nbsp; This puts everything in your own control.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you&amp;#39;re still using Trados Studio 2022 then I think this is most likely because your admins have not understood, or not got around to making use of the latest versions of the software.&amp;nbsp; We provided Trados Team from Trados Studio 2022 onwards for Universities to be able to manage their courses more efficiently and also so they always had access to the latest software we provide.&amp;nbsp; It&amp;#39;s free, so the only barrier to using it is the University itself.&lt;/p&gt;
