Hello, When I first registered on the platform, I received an email regarding payment details through a payment provider. I don’t even remember its name, as I no longer have those emails.But I remember that I had an issue with my paypal name, but I’m not sure whether it was resolved or not.

Now I have the opportunity to participate in a project, but I’m hesitant because I’m not certain whether my payment information is correctly linked or not. I would like to verify that everything is okay, or know if I need to update my payment details. What should I do?

Apologies for the late response, I only found your message yesterday.

I have asked our finance teams and they confirmed that you are correctly registered in our system and that - from RWS side - there are no open orders or payments. For the new project,you'd need to fully register via Tipalti first.

I just registered and I can't log in to worzone. The ID works but the workzone doesn't. It always says

You can use this app https://appstore.rws.com/Plugin/67 in the Files view right click on the docx.sdlxliff file you want to save and select Export to xliff, follow the steps from the Export window and then you will have the xliff at the location from the Summary (3) stage. In the last stage Preparation (4) you have the option Open Folder in Explorer, which should let you access the file location.

The client requests the translation in XLIFF format. the only option provided by Trados 21 is Word, the original files were sent in Word. what should I do to save the target as XLIFF?

Purchased a new 12-month subscription for Trados Studio 2022 Freelancer but it shows as 'inactive' in my account

Hello RWS,

This morning I purchased a new 12 month subscription for Trados Studio Freelancer 2022. The order was completed (Order 743408) but the product is shown as Inactive on my account. I cannot therefore access Trados Studio 2022 on my computer.

Could you please advise me on how to activate my subscription?

I'm trying to add a server Based Memory to a File based Project.

I'm able to do it through the Studio UI.

But I can't figure it out with the API.

My code:

If fileName is like {serverUri}/{Path}/{NameTM}, studio adds it but doesn't recognize the tm and I get unknown tm and tooltip saying translation provider not installed even though I use the same translation provider for file based memories

If fileName is like sdltm.{serverUri}/?=orgPath{Path}&tmName={NameTM}, I get invalid URI.

I followed the example on trados-studio-api-samples/ProjectCreator.cs at 1d593eeaf2e9dde1882c9d473dc79fc43db01310 · RWS/trados-studio-api-samples (github.com)

But what kind of URI should it be?

After testing all the combinations, I found out the correct complete URI should be sdltm.{serverUri}/{Path}/{NameTM}

Problem with client packages

Hello!

I have a client and all their packages come with a "hidden" TM.
It opens normally and the client says that their TM was updated properly when they receive the return package, but the TM won't appear for me when I import the package.
Does anyone know what is happening? The client itself doesn't know why that happens. I've tried reinstalling Trados, updating, changing the OS version (Win10 and Win11) and even tried on another computer, but nothing solves the problem.

Can someone help me?
