(Building)Too many files.
I was decoyed by smooth wordings of “ Age of developers ”. Yes, I am not a developer but an ignorant translator. I successed in making my own (very first) button s in my own group. <Question> I used a sample code from here. “C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDK 4.0\StudioAutomation\Sdl.Actions.Sample” I deleted some of it, and copy/pasted. Buid it nicely. Works fine. Now, I have almost 600 files in my “ C:\Users\Foo\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados...

Hi Kristin, I guess you didn't return the license first, so you need to force return it which you can do yourself. You can reset your own license by using the Self Service option in your MySDL account for SDL Trados 2007 and SDL Trados Studio 2009. Go to KB article #4295 and follow the instructions. Regards Paul

Problem finally solved. After having saved/exported the customized file filters, I have reset the "File types" list to its default settings. All customized File types disappeared from both lists. Thank you. Claudio

Track changes mode in "mqxlz" files in Studio 2015

Hi Mila, I don't know if this is a bug yet... I can use track changes in Studio with mqxlz files. I think you need to provide a sample file that you are using and then provide some steps to reproduce it based on what you are doing. Hi Paul, Thank you very much for your reply. I tried installing the program as admin with no success. However I looked at the articles that you suggested in the Knowledgebase and I found one that I hadn't found prior to asking this question. I discovered that this problem was caused by incompatability with Canon printer drivers. I can now open MultiTerm and everything seems to be working well. Kind regards, Felicity

Hi Janete, I have this running in 2015 without any problems. Can you provide a little more information to help analyse your issue? - Do you have the app installed? Which link did you use? - Do you actually have Verifika installed as the standalone tool? - Do you get any error messages? If so what are they? - If you don't get error messages can you explain what you are trying to do? Things like this will help us to give you a better response that might help you to resolve your problem...

#YourProductivity App causing Studio do be EXTREMELY slow!

Hi Jonathan, It's a known issue that is on the backlog to be resolved. It's caused by the xml file we write the data to growing too large. So the fix will be to rewrite the app to write to a small database instead. In the meantime you can resolve it temporarily by deleting the large json file for the current month here: c:\Users\pfilkin\AppData\Roaming\SDL Community\YourProductivity\ You may actually find that things improve at the start of the next month anyway as I think it...

Welcome to the developer world! This is not a scientific answer, but just try to restart your PC. Something seems to have a hold on this file, maybe that helps. A restart is always a good first attempt to solve any PC problems :-)
